“In 1982 the Mini Conference sprung from an idea to invite the four “Sister Cities” of Kenosha, Racine, Waukegan and Zion to join together and share their experience, strength and hope with each other. The hope was that the sharing and caring would continue from one conference to the next. In 2001 the conference name was changed to Tri-County Mini Conference to include the “Sister Counties” of Lake County, IL, Kenosha and Racine County, WI.” – from the legacy conference guidelines.
